We value your trust and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase of our electric vehicle (EV) chargers and accessories.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged, defective, or not functioning properly upon delivery.
  • The product received is different from what was ordered.
  • The return request is raised within 7 days of receiving the product.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) must be provided.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, or physical tampering.
  • Items purchased during sales, Cash on Delivery (COD), or No Cost EMI offers.
  • Custom-made or special-order products.
  • Used or installed items that are not defective.

3. Return Process

Our team will review your request and share the return shipping address and instructions if approved.
Please ensure the product is securely packed to avoid transit damage.

4. Inspection and Approval

Once we receive your returned product:

  • If the product is found ineligible (used, damaged, or incomplete), the return will be declined and sent back.
  • Our Quality Assurance team will inspect the item.
  • If approved, we’ll initiate a replacement or refund within 7–10 business days.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, or bank account) within 7–10 business days after confirmation.
Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment gateway.

6. Replacement Policy

If your product qualifies for a replacement:

  • If the replacement product is unavailable or discontinued, a full refund will be issued instead.
  • A new product will be shipped once the returned item is received and verified.

7. Damaged or Defective Products

If your product arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Send an email to support@zapev.in with:

  • Your order number, and
  • Clear photos or a short video showing the issue.

We’ll review and arrange a replacement or refund promptly.

8. Cancellation Policy

  • You can cancel your order before it is shipped.
  • Once the order has been dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted.
  • Approved cancellations will be refunded within 5 business days.

9. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, ZapEV will bear the return shipping charges.
  • For other reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
